The 5/16" plastic spout with hook is designed to be used with the plastic sap bucket and plastic cover for sap buckets, but can also be used with many non-traditional vessels as well. This spout has a hole in the top that works with flat bucket cover hinges. The hook is also very strong and can take the weight of a 3-gallon bucket that is full of sap.

Available individually or in a bag of 100.

The 5/16" Leader drill bit is special design for drill frozen maple trees. The special sharp point will work very well when tapping trees with thick bark. The sharp point is also good for younger trees with smoother bark to prevent the bit from "walking" if not enough force is applied.

These plastic pipe fitting adapt common water pipe sizes to a common pipe thread fitting. The male pipe thread or MPT and Hose barb or INS come in a variety of common sizes for plastic mainline tubing and black plastic water pipe. The aggressive hold of the hose barbs lock on when the plastic mainline tubing is clamped on with a hose clamp eliminate leaks. By using thread tape, or other types of pipe thread sealant the male threads will also be leak free when tightened in using a wrench or pliers.

All of our valves have female threaded ends for easy installation into a pipeline system. We recommend using ball valves on both ends of every mainline in a maple sap tubing system, for ease in cleaning and maintenance.
